Rebecca Ierardo is a Senior Program Manager at Windfall Trust, where she supports the strategy, process development, and execution of workshops that bring together economists, AI researchers, and policymakers to explore how AI could reshape economies and societies.
Prior to joining Windfall Trust, Ierardo served as the Program Director for Technology and Democracy Programs at New America, where she focused on building operations, strategy, and new initiatives dedicated to shaping a digital ecosystem that is safer, open, and inclusive. Throughout her career, Ierardo has worked on complex, global initiatives at the intersection of technology and government innovation, where she has worked to increase resident voice in government decision-making, building a government culture of trust and transparency, and developing valuable public interest technology that meets pressing community needs.
Ierardo also has experience partnering across public and private sectors to drive innovation in areas such as healthcare, refugee policy reform, education, and economic development. She has a master's degree in public policy from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's in international relations and anthropology from Syracuse University.
