Brittany works at the intersection of institutional crisis, structural stabilization, and systemic problem solving. At Windfall Trust, she collaborates with foundations, policymakers, and civil society to navigate how AI is reshaping labor and democratic institutions, with a focus on ensuring technological gains include the workforces and communities most at risk of being left behind.
Brittany brings more than two decades of experience across national security and international development. This includes leading the Office of Transition Initiatives and the Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization at USAID, where she managed a global team and directed rapid-response grants. Her broader background spans the International Crisis Group, the White House National Security Council, the State Department's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, the Department of Defense, and Capitol Hill. Her career began at Cook County Jail's pre-vocational training program, an early grounding in institutional systems under strain.
Brittany serves on the boards of the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy and We Vote. She holds a master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a bachelor's in Political Science and Sociology from DePaul University. A longtime election volunteer, she has worked campaigns across seven states over twenty-five years. She is based in Northern California.
